Namaste Winner…!.!.!.!

10 Aug

Hey guys, Sorry for the delay. The winner of the Namaste giveaway is Emily. Congrats girly! We will e-mail you 🙂

The past couple of days have been hectic with work, back to school shopping, and registering for classes. And there is still so much to do in these last 2 1/2 weeks before school starts. It is overwhelming! Really I should be relaxed, because Senior year needs to be fun and stress free. Is anyone else feeling overwhelmed trying to get everything all done and ready for back to school?

Here are a few of the eats from the past 2 days:

PB cup overnight oats using Amazing meal, greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and PB 😉

The long lost Easylunchboxes were pulled out to make a quick-lunch for work

In the box:

  • Spinach Egg white Wrap
  • Cereal Cinna-sugar almonds
  • 1/2 of a HUGE fuji Apple sliced

Dinner plate:

  • All natural Fresco Asiago Chicken Sausage
  • Alexia Sweet Potato Fries
  • Veggies covered w/ jalapeno humus and Spike
  • Pickle

Oatgurt w/ Iced Coffee

I would just like to call this Greek yogurt Fig Newton yogurt! It was awesomly creamy, and the fig in it really tasted like a good ol’ Fig Newton. It was great over the Hot oats and some PB btw.

What to do when dad says no…

21 Jul

If any of you are from Utah, or have family from there, then you probably know that the  24th of July is a big DEAL! In Utah, people celebrate like Crazy, and it is pretty much bigger than the 4th of July there. And not to mention, fireworks are legal there, so you can do them from the comfort of your own neighborhood. Last year we went, and it was SO MUCH FUN! Ash, Court, and I had already took of the days from work from tomorrow to Tuesday like months ago, just so we could go visit our family again. Too bad our dad said no. Don’t ask me why he let us three drive there last year with no parentals, but this year a big fat “NO.” What? First off Ash is 21, and we are almost 18. He could trust us last year, but not this year?

So basically now we have 6 days of Freedom to experience a summer week without work. It’s real awesome, but I just really wish our fun planned out trip was not ruined. You best bet Court and I will be doing all Summer must-do activities this week now. We plan on going to the pool, bike-riding, hiking, and SHOPPING!

After looking over yesterday’s post, we made a big MISTAKE. Ashley’s real e-mail is amaughan1@yahoo.com Sorry 😦 For any of you who e-mailed her, just forward your e-mail. Our bad. lol

Chocolate Shakeology overnight oats with some Toffee Nut Iced Coffee

Today Court and I managed to survive a 9 1/2 hour shift at work. Let me tell ya, when your such a good worker and get everything done for close 2 hrs early, those hours begin to feel like years. It was like sitting through a long class period, when all you can do is focus on the clock. So agonizing! LOL. But we were running to lock the doors right at 4, dumped all the coffees/bagels, then darted out the door.

1/2 cup oats, 1/2 scoop shakeology, 1 container of Strawberry voskos, chia, flax

These Larabars are amazing! You guys gotta find them 🙂 But so far, no luck finding the Carrot Cake flavor. We may have to try going to Whole Foods one day. Or, just simply making some homemade ones.

Delish Snacky sampler lunch

Our work sells the most yummy parfait, so when 3 o’ clock rolled around, the tummies were wanting some of that delish yogurt, granola, and berries. Then we put a big spoonful of JIF on there. Wow, I think it’s been a year since having JIF, and switching to all natural PB. MMM, I forgot how good it taste, exactly like a reeses PB cup filling. Yum 🙂 A spoonful of Hydrogenated oil PB is not gonna kill ya.

Afternoon snack- Activia Yogurt parfait from work topped w/ PB

When Court and I were eating dinner on the Deck tonight, our neighbors behind us were playing this awful Opera crap! They were blaring there music so loud, and eww was it bad. I was like seriously, “this stuff sounds like Opera on crack.! They need to turn it off. lol.”

Dinner- Turkey Peperjack sandwich thin with a Sweet Pota-ta-ta-o

Earthgrains Sandwich thin, turkey, tomato, onion, melted peperjack slice

1/2 the potato has I can't believe it's not butter, stevia+Cinna, and other half has PB, cinna, and SF syrup

The rest of the night is looking like:

  • 90210 episode or two with the sista’s
  • work a little on AP Physc HW
  • Eat a Nestle Drumstick

♥Peace & Love Friends

P.S. We really got shopping fever. Is there any good deals going on anywhere? I saw Victoria secret has some really cute stuff right now btw.

Tornado’s, Projects, & Friday… Oh my!

23 Apr

Hey Guys!

Long time, no see. You have probably been wondering where have Court & Whit gone? Well, to answer your question we have been…here…and

here… making these magazines for US History. This project was torture 😦  These week has been out of CONTROL… So much HW! Everynight has been HW,HW,HW.. and more HW. Time is dwindling down and now it is Crunch Time. So pretty much a lot of Crazy things have been happening this week.

 Wednesday~ Late Day “B” Day

Well let’s just say for being a “B” day, Wed flew by in the blink of an eye.

 Breakfast=Pumpkin Pancake Trio

Toppings were per usual: 1) PB and Pumpkin butter, Greek yogurt&granola, sugar-free syrup

Mid-morning snack: Cookies ‘n Cream Luna

Lunch: Veggie salad, Clem, and 100 cal kettle popcorn

Also mixed in, was some leftover Garlic Pork Tenderloin

Afterschool, we rushed home, did level 3 of the Shred, then got right to work on that Project!

Breakfast for Dinner is the best, so Dinner= Egg white spinach scramble, half of a juicy grapefruit, and some Apple cinnamon toast.

Thursday~Earth Day!!!

Breakfast= Pumpkiny oats, with a Deep Chocolate Vita and new “Naturally More” PB. Also a green tea latte

This morning, and all week has been on and off PURE RAIN! You would think we we’re on the East Coast, but nope it is Just Colorado for you. Warm meals have been cozy though.

**Naturally More PB Review: naturally more is lower in calories 169 vs. 190 for 2 tbs, naturally good for you-Flax, egg whites, etc. It was easy spread-Liqudy just the way I like 🙂

Very Yummy, and we loved the texture 😉

After seeing this fabulous creation on Kath’s blog, Courtney and I recreated it for lunch using Progreso Tomato Bisque Soup, 1 Egg, and half of a Naan Flatbread w/ Laughing cow spread on top. This was awesome, I don’t know why we have never tried this before, but eggs are yummy mixed in tomato soup!

And some Pepper was used to spice up the top.

 MMM, Flatbread 🙂

It was our early day today, so after lunch we decided to go grocery shopping for our mom. When we left, it was sunny & bright. As Whit & I were walking around Safeway casually, we looked outside and the whole sky was SUPER DARK! We were thinking WTF happened to the Weather? Then we heard the sirens (tornado sirens). We hurried up, checked out, then rushed into the pouring rain to get to our car. The whole parking lot was flooded, so our pants were soaked up to our knees, and the basket was sliding everywhere! When we got in the car, everyone was calling us frantically to get home, and sure enough we got home safely. Colorado weather never gets boring. lol

When we got home, a yogurt mess was sounding pretty ideal, so we whipped one up using:

  • Peach chobani
  • Plain greek yogurt
  • Naturally more PB
  • Mango
  • Banana
  • Apple Granola

While out grocery shopping, we got some of Kim & Scott’s Gourmet Pretzels with our handy dandy VIP coupon to review.

Also, picked up to try was Mocha Fudge SO Delicious Ice-cream!

**Verdict: So creamy and decadent with big pillows of fudge in every bite. It kinda tasted like Starbucks Java Chip IC, but with less cals. We could not believe it was dairy-free! If you like SB Ice-cream, then we recommend this flavor to you.

This was seriously a night of new products, and A LOT of Reviews. So with that said, to go on top of our Ice-cream was Tru whip.

we want to hear from you!

Chemicals aren’t cool. So in 2007, when we looked at the whipped topping category and realized there were no natural alternatives, we decided to create one. Ta-daaa! truwhip was born.

At Peak Foods, we are committed to safety, quality and environmental sustainability, as well as health and taste. That’s why truwhip has no chemicals, trans fats, hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup. Even better, no bad karma.

We did it for all you folks out there who grew up eating tempting desserts and fluffy fruit salads made with old-style whipped topping. At long last, the flavors you love, without the unhealthy stuff you don’t! So bring on the Pineapple Fluff, Strawberry Yogurt Pie and Banana Pudding Parfait!
