Week 4 begins now…

¬†Happy Happy Monday ūüôā

        Hello Lovely people, how is your mountain of a monday going? I hope good! Ours has been pretty rad so far.

Check out what we made last night, it was Goji-Licious!

 In the mix:

  • 1/2 container of Chobani plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 container of Hunt’s butterscotch pudding
  • 1 tablespoon of apple granola
  • 1 tablespoon of Kashi heart to heart
  • 2 mini Goji chocolate chip cookies
  • 1 mini Goji Orange mint chip cookie

Viola, a delish satisfying Yogurt mess ūüėČ

 Since it is Monday, we had a 5 AM wake-up call this morning. Breakfast was a simple hardy dish.

  • 13 PB puffins (to be specific. lol)
  • 1/2 cup of Kashi heart to heart warm Cinnamon
  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 tbs of silvered almonds
  • 1/2 cup almond milk

And to go with was 2 slices (50 cals each) of Sprouts Apple Cinnamon Raisin Bread.

 

 We decided we would hit up the gym after second period today, so Whit and I split this Boomi Bar beauty!

 **Verdict: Taste like cashew butter in bar form, which is awesome and very impressive

While at the gym, we completed:

  • 20 min of the eliptical at Incline of 3

  • 10 minutes of the bike at¬†Incline of 3¬†

 

  • Bikini Body Shape-Up Circuit out of this months Fitness Magazine

¬†~Wow, we we’re SWEATY! This whole workout today was good and challenging. Loved it!

When we got home, we stretched it out then tried a few sips out of this Sport OWATER.

¬†**Verdict: I love the all of the Sport OWATER flavors, I¬†think they just simply taste better sweetened. Their unsweetened flavors don’t even compare to these ones, Tasty ūüôā

 Then, it was time to make some Lunch cause that workout left our tummies rumbling! Last week, we got a nice package from Fiber Gourmet filled with a ton of their neat products.

This company is awesome, and sells healthier Pasta, Desserts, and crackers.

 And check out all the nutrition info all over the box. Needless to say, it is Chuck full of fiber and less calories than Traditional Mac&Cheese.

Explanation-As the Fiber goes up, the calories go down

 Also mixed into our Mac was:

  • Tofu
  • Spinach
  • chickpeas
  • Pepper

 And our classic go to side dish of splitting a Pink Lady Apple topped w/ Pumpkin, PB, and Cinnamon, oh my!

And now we’re going to prep lunch for tomorrow, then take a lovely Monday afternoon nap. Nothing beats an afternoon nap. ūüėČ

Today was more of a sluf day than relaxing. Court, my mom and I:

  • ¬†Went to my mom’s doctor appt.
  • Shop at Kohls
  • Go to the bank
  • Haircuts
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Drop off packages at UPS
  • Workout (must have pushed it hard today, so sweaty!)
  • Make Dinner

tonight’s dinner was some whole wheat Penne pasta with ricotta, alfredo sauce, leeks, spinach, and cherry tomatoes all mixed in.


Also, some Parmesan Garlic Tilapia, asparagus, and a roll.  This was such a yummy dinner, and just using up some leftover stuff in the fridge. When Karstee finished hers, she was practically licking the plate clean. lol

 

¬†Dessert is the best part, a Reese’s Egg. MMM…

Right now I am watching a really good episode of 16 and Pregnant, and then I gotta go finish my homework.

No school the rest of the week BABY!!! yayyay

 Tuesday 3/16

Even though we do not have school today, we still had to wake up at the butt crack of dawn to make it to our Orthodontist Appointment at 9:30 AM! So not cool, when all you want to do is sleep.

Anyways onto breakfast, we had the rest of the leftover Pumpkin in some Pumpkiney oats. Same mixture as the other day, except we used Banana this time instead of a heated pear. Served alongside a small glass of cold(have not had in a while) skim milk.

After our appointment, we stopped by Sprouts, Target, Wal-mart, and Barnes Noble to run some errands for our mommy=) Then, when we got home we were ready for a good lunch.

  • Spinach wrap:

                         -Half a laughing cow wedge

                        -Half slice of Pepperjack cheese

                        -leftover Shredded pork from french dip sandwiches

                        -1 sliced tomato

  • Salad
  • Leftover Alexia Fries

 

Dessert tonight was totally inspired by Kath. Last night she made banana soft serve, and topped it with some chocolate PB. So today at Super Target Court and I picked up some Dark Chocolate All Natural PB and melted it over our maple banana soft serve. Then added some toffee bits and two mashed pecans. HEAVANLY! It was so creamy and better than ice cream. We need to get a stockpile of bananas, so they all go bad. I could seriously make this everyday how good it is. 

Workout: Recovery Week of Insanity (DVD= Core Cardio and Balance 40 min)
