Court & Whit’s Ultimate back to school guide

25 Jul

Happy Sunday! Our’s was restful, how about yours? The day started with Ash waking us up at 6:30! Is coach Ashley nuts on a Sunday morning? lol. After whining and crying (ha, jk..) we pulled our butts out of bed, and threw on some workout clothes. Today’s class was Fire 45 (all of our fav video). We all had plans for the day, so a 6:30 AM workout was the only thing that made sense. We have an obligation, and if that means 6:30, then that is what it means. We have not had Sunday off in ages, so we decided to go to Church with Karstee. After our workout there was not much time to get ready, but we still managed to whip up a bowl of Cottage Cheese Pumpkin Oats for the road.

 In the Mix:

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 stevia pkt.
  • Lots of cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice

  • Drizzle of sugar-free syrup
  • Spoonful of white chocolate PB
  • Spoonful of walden’s caramel sauce
  • Sprinkle of kashi and silvered almonds

On our way to church we picked up Toffee Nut iced latte’s, and then headed to the service. It felt good to be there, and I really liked the whole message about Love today. I won’t go into detail, but lets just say it put me in a really happy mood the rest of the day.

After Church, we went to Wash. park, and walked for 45 min around the water in the blazing sun. Seriously, it got to be 98 degrees while we were out there! After we became a sweaty mess, it was time for some Lunch. We have a ton of Free sandwich coupons for Einstein’s, so we went to one that was down the street from the park. The yummy unpictured lunch included: Veg Out on a toasted Honey Whole Wheat bagel, with the side of a banana. MMM, Garden Veggie Cream cheese rocks!

We decided to eat our lunch at the park under a nice shady tree. Court and I brought some of our phycology HW, so we layed there on that blanket for about two hours at hard work on that HW. I CAN’T BELIEVE WERE STILL NOT DONE!!! Since we were downtown, and our favorite Coffee Shop Stella’s was down the road, we went there, and refueled with some blenders. Butterscotch Latte blenders to be exact!

Okay so when we got home, Court and I were feelin like we had way too much sun today, and not nearly enough WATER! AH!!! Like Heat stroke. eee, way too much coffee, sun, and NOT ENOUGH WATER 😦 Not to mention, the house felt like 200 degrees. We made HUGE glasses of water, and started to hydrate. After about an hour we decided to go to the pool, since there was hardly anyone there, and it was shady. What a good idea 🙂 We cooled off, and all talked for about an hour in the refreshing water.

And finally the day has come to an end with some 90210, and a dinner of Subway’s Veggie Delight on the Italian Herb bread. It was a kinda Eat out Day, but hey it happens sometimes.
