Week 4 begins now…

¬†Happy Happy Monday ūüôā

        Hello Lovely people, how is your mountain of a monday going? I hope good! Ours has been pretty rad so far.

Check out what we made last night, it was Goji-Licious!

 In the mix:

  • 1/2 container of Chobani plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 container of Hunt’s butterscotch pudding
  • 1 tablespoon of apple granola
  • 1 tablespoon of Kashi heart to heart
  • 2 mini Goji chocolate chip cookies
  • 1 mini Goji Orange mint chip cookie

Viola, a delish satisfying Yogurt mess ūüėČ

 Since it is Monday, we had a 5 AM wake-up call this morning. Breakfast was a simple hardy dish.

  • 13 PB puffins (to be specific. lol)
  • 1/2 cup of Kashi heart to heart warm Cinnamon
  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 tbs of silvered almonds
  • 1/2 cup almond milk

And to go with was 2 slices (50 cals each) of Sprouts Apple Cinnamon Raisin Bread.


 We decided we would hit up the gym after second period today, so Whit and I split this Boomi Bar beauty!

 **Verdict: Taste like cashew butter in bar form, which is awesome and very impressive

While at the gym, we completed:

  • 20 min of the eliptical at Incline of 3

  • 10 minutes of the bike at¬†Incline of 3¬†


  • Bikini Body Shape-Up Circuit out of this months Fitness Magazine

¬†~Wow, we we’re SWEATY! This whole workout today was good and challenging. Loved it!

When we got home, we stretched it out then tried a few sips out of this Sport OWATER.

¬†**Verdict: I love the all of the Sport OWATER flavors, I¬†think they just simply taste better sweetened. Their unsweetened flavors don’t even compare to these ones, Tasty ūüôā

 Then, it was time to make some Lunch cause that workout left our tummies rumbling! Last week, we got a nice package from Fiber Gourmet filled with a ton of their neat products.

This company is awesome, and sells healthier Pasta, Desserts, and crackers.

 And check out all the nutrition info all over the box. Needless to say, it is Chuck full of fiber and less calories than Traditional Mac&Cheese.

Explanation-As the Fiber goes up, the calories go down

 Also mixed into our Mac was:

  • Tofu
  • Spinach
  • chickpeas
  • Pepper

 And our classic go to side dish of splitting a Pink Lady Apple topped w/ Pumpkin, PB, and Cinnamon, oh my!

And now we’re going to prep lunch for tomorrow, then take a lovely Monday afternoon nap. Nothing beats an afternoon nap. ūüėČ

Finally the Last Song is out!!!

Finally, after days of the harsh 5 AM alarm clock going off, it finally was silent this morning, Court and I embraced our sleep, and listened to our bodies today. And they were ready to wake up at about 8:45 AM. With just a little bit of pumpkin in the fridge left to use up, we decided Pumpkin Pancakes and they turned out FAB-U-LOUS!  

 Toppings consisted of:

  • Nuked Cinnamon Agave Pink Lady Apple
  • White Chocolate PB
  • Organic Brown Rice Syrup

 While eating breakfast, we watched Good Morning America, and there was a segment with the author of Hungry Girl. She had some pretty good looking recipes.

Since today is all about listening to our bodies, we did not work out. And we both agreed that our bodies were completly fatigued, and that a rest day is just what they needed to recooperate. Our mom wanted us to do the Grocery shopping today, so after breakfast we got ready and headed out to King Soopers, Sprouts, and Wal-mart. We needed to just pick some stuff up for Easter, and in general just some Kitchen staples esp. bananas and pink lady apples. Our Mid-morning snack consisted of last nights dessert a 1,000,000 Peanut Butter Cookie. And to hydrate some OWater.

 These cookies are great, they are like a cross between a PB cookie, and a snickerdoodle with the cinnamon sugar topping.

After shopping, we met up with our mom for lunch at Chick-fil-a where we all ordered Chargrilled Chicken Sandwiches, with yogurt parfaits instead of fries.

Then, later after some more shopping, we came home put everything away, and made a morning star grilled chicken sandwich in a pita with tomatoe, onions, and laughing cow cheese. And on the side was some more CheeCha Puffs. The Lime Flavor! These ones are the best flavor yet, and they remind me of the Lime chips at Chipotle, but a healthier version. They were the perfect pair for this meal.

¬†Then, when 6 o’ Clock rolled around, we headed down the road to go see the 6:30 showing of THE LAST SONG. It was a great love story, and such a sad movie, seriously my eyes were watering, and you could hear sniffles all around. lol Court looked over at me, and I could not help but laugh. I just always try to contain myself from crying in movies. The movie was filmed in Tybee Island, Georgia, and let me tell you, a Beach has never looked so beautiful. I already told my mom I want to go there this summer, it is gorgeous!



When Court and I arrived home from the movies their was a half opened package waiting for us on the table. It was from Nicobella Chocolate. They were very generous and sent us an assortment of truffles to review. When we opened the box, one truffle was missing. Our mom fessed up and said she had eaten the chocolate. Keep in mind that our mom is the pickiest eater on this planet. We asked her how her truffle was and this was her response, “Well girls, after not eating one piece of chocolate for three months it tasted better than sex!” LOL¬†Whit and I were laughing so hard that we pretty much fell over. Next it was our turn to taste the truffles….



This was my truffle. It is the pumpkin chai flavor. For it being vegan this chocolate never tasted so creamy!

Walking on Egg shells

-Saturday, March 27th- 

 Breakfast this morning was once again another pumpkin cauncaction oats, but this one turned out much better than yesterdays. And I really think having the pumpkin butter made all the difference.

¬†Court and I were so excited to find this at Albertson’s, they never have pumpkin butter there.


 Paired with our oats we made the famous Steamers:

  • 1 1/2 cup of skim milk
  • 1 pkt¬†of sweetner(Splenda/Stevia)
  • Lots of Cinnamon

*Microwave for 2 min, or until frothy like

We worked 8-4:30 today, so we packed our lunches last night. And look no plastic, what good little eco friendly twins we are. lol.


When we got to work, Court and I found out that two more people got fired, so it literally feels like we’re walking on egg shells at work. That’s okay though, because we are good little employees.


  • Fruit Salad-¬†Dried cranberries, silvered almonds, clem, annies¬†raspberry vinaigrette
  • Split a pink lady apple
  • 1 Apple cinnamon fig bar

 Pink lady apples are so flavorful, if you have not tried them yet, I highly recommend them. They are so juicy, and taste like candy=)

 Apple fig bars are becoming a new obsession.

Those nine hours of work felt like a century! Even though we got those shoe inserts last week, my feet were still pretty beat. Standing up for that many hours is no bueno to  the feet, legs, or back. Seriously, I need a massage my whole body is tense:(

On the way home, Court and I were famished, so we split this Cliff Peanut Toffee Buzz bar. And I have decided that one, and the carrot cake one are two of my fav. Cliff bars. Actually, toffee anything is good.


 When we got home, snack #2 came into play, when we saw that there were a few packages on the kitchen counter that came in the mail for us. One of them was OWater.

¬†Thanks to Tracey Cadrin¬†at Cheecha¬†puffs, who was so sweet to send us the BIGGEST review package we have ever received. There were 12 bags of these healthy Puffs. As soon as we opened¬†the box, Karstee¬†and Ashley were so excited to try these, that they were practically tearing open the bag before we stopped them. I was like “No, no I need a picture first!” lol Anyways we tried the Sea Salt Pepper, and Original one’s first. They are a perfect little snack, and you can have 2 cups for 74 cals. With all natural ingredients, these would be perfect to pair with a sandwich, or just for that Chip lover.


Whooha gear T-shirts Review

When we went to workout, we wore our Whooha gear T-shirts. These shirts worked well, with there Dri-Balance material. Our our sweat was getting sucked right in, and my whole t-shirt did not look like I took a shower in it. We have gotten so many compliments on these shirts, even our older sis Ashley was so jealous! Maybe we will have to buy her one since her B-day is coming up. She deserves it, she made it through p90X! All in all we really like this brand, and their inspirational sayings on all merchandise. Dinner tonight involved some Progresso soup, and half of a Garlic Flatbread from Fabulous Flats. There are so much to do with all these awesome Products!



 Soup is so cozy on a cold day. And, when you just got done with a 9 hour work day on your feet, then an hour of Max Interval Plyo. Yikes!

 What a tiring day, and it ended with some Millet bread. This stuff is so addicting, especially when there is so much you can do with it. Tonight we made a strawberry white chocolate shortcake on top.

  • 1 slice of Millet Bread
  • 1/2 tbs of strawberry preserves
  • two spoonfuls of Honey Greek yogurt
  • Strawberries
  • White Chocolate Chips

*** Tip: Make desserts healthier by using greek yogurt for icing, or whipped cream
