Monday- 5/3

Well guess what?!?…. Week 5 of school officially begins to-d-a-y 🙂

And on the agenda today was:

  • School
    -Scicnce Test
    -Math Test
  • After school
    Afternoon snack
    -Work out (chalene burn circuit 2 and the shred level 1)
    -Make dinner
    -Shower
    -HW
    -Blog

Almost done with my to-do list! What was on your agenda for the day?

 

This morning, using the rest of our Bolthouse Chai-Tea, we created: Maple Chai Coffee Oats~GENIUS!

In the mix:

Toppings:

  • 2 tbs. Honey Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 tbs. Richard’s Natural Crunchy pb
  • sprinkle silvered almonds
  • sprinkle Apple Cinnamon granola

Doesn’t that look delish, and it was perfectly proportioned in the MU bowl we got sent 😉

~*~REVIEW TIME~*~

A while back Krema sent us about 4 jars of their peanut butter to review(2 Krema, and 2 Crazy Richard’s). After polishing of a jar of their creamy, we whipped out the Chunky this morning! As quoted from the jar, this company is “TOTALLY Nuts!” Their nut butters contain no salt, sugar, hydrogenated oils or trans fats.

VERDICT: This is the crunchiest peanut butter I have ever tried, if you cannot already tell from the picture of the oats! I like crunchy peanut butter more than creamy so this definitely hit the spot…. TWO THUMBS UP in my book!

 

 

Today was a “b”-day, so mid morning snack was this guy.

 

 

Whit and I did not feel like making a million dishes, so lunch today was a frozen meal(And a divine one at that!)

Who knew Lean Pockets came in such a variety of unique flavors.  

 

 

The test’s that we took at school today were kinda difficult, but I am hoping we did okay, so that our grades stay good and high before FINALS hit 🙂  We both had the same Chemistry test today. Whit took hers first period and I took mine second hehe. School was not that bad today, my schedule(whit) went
1B) Chem Test
2B) Office Assistant=run passes
3B) Marketing= watch YouTube videos/ do absolutely nothing
4B) Geo/Trig= TEST

Overall, it was an easy kind of a day, and guess what on Wed. and Friday my marketing class decided we are going to remake the Lady Gaga’s Telephone video. And… it might count as our final since it is Sports/ENTERTAINMENT Marketing! Cool huh!

 

 

 

When we got home we were both craving some more Crazy Richards and soooo….. 

 

A yogurt mess was born, and look at that beauty in the middle!

 

 Tonight’s dinner consisted of fish-filet sandwiches, salad, and cheecha puffs!
It feels like Summer 🙂

 Dessert: Chalene’s Special

  • strawberries
  • graham cracker
  • white chocolate chips

 

 So YUM

 Well I am off to read this and finish my to-do list.

Hey Monday ain’t over yet!

 And Monday continues…

Good evening all! It feels great to know that Monday’s heftiness has finally dwindled down. After our workout today, Whit and I refueled with a Green Monster! And we used up all the rest of the spinach, so now we need to restock ASAP. Today it was supposed to be really warm, but all day it just looked gloomy like it was going to rain, which it never did. LAME, don’t you just love afternoon rain? I know I do, esp. in Colorado.

Once the monster’s were all in the belly, Whit had the fabulous idea for a nap! And it felt so good, afternoon naps are the best 🙂

 

 

 

Our mom had today off from work, so off course the house was spotless, and Dinner was made. She made Spaghetti, Carb heaven 🙂 Since we were missing some Texas toast Garlic Bread, we opted to make our own on Sandwich thins. And some Veggies were thrown in too.

 

 

 

 

 

After dinner, we all cleaned the kitchen, packed lunches for tomorrow, and heated up dessert. Tonight’s Specialty another Lenny and Larry’s Cookie, but these one’s were Oatmeal Raisin. Our mom was jealous, so we gave her a chocolate chip one. Her verdict “This is so good, soft, and I am love how big it is!”

 

 

And just as their other products, this one was equally good, so far the Winners are the Cookies n’ Cream brownie, and the PB cookie. Yummy carbs tonight, for some hard-working bodies.

 

We just got done reading the first Chapter of this book called “Woman Warrior” that we have to read for Am. Lit Honors, and it is kinda weird so far. But next up is “The Kite Runner,” and everyone seems to like that book, so it should be a good finisher to the year.

 

Well, lunches are packed, HW is done, so now the question is what to make for B-fast tomorrow. So many Choices! What a dilemma. Lol

 

To answer a FAQ of today Do you guys eat the same meals everyday?

A: For the most part, because we are together pretty much 24/7, and we like most of the same meals, so it works out easier to cook together, and it is fun!

Monday’s are like a mountain

 Good morning! School is back in session, and we got about 7 weeks to go till Summer. Let the countdowns begin=) This morning’s breakfast was prepped in our handy easy lunchboxes the night before. Overnight Oats, with toppings in the side compartments. Man what a time saver.

 This was truly a bowl of Tropical Sunshine Over-night Oats, In the mix:

  • 1 pkg of Coach’s Oats
  • 1/4 cup of Pineapple coconut yogurt
  • 1/4 cup of Pomegranate Kefir
  • 1/4 cup of Honey Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp chia
  • 1 tsp flax
  • 1 tsp wheat germ

Toppings:

  • Strawberries, Kiwi, Mango
  • Unsweetened coconut
  • Cranberry Trail mix
  • Kashi go lean cereal
  • Silvered Almonds

 

 It was Luscious!

Since today is a “B” day at school, we packed Vanilla Almond Luna Bars for a snack during 3rd period.

We have 4 of these handy dandy containers life savers, so we also packed our lunch too;)

In the Lunchbox:

  • Egg White Salad Sandwich on Sandwich thin(Used a melted laughing cow wedge instead of Mayo)
  • Baby Carrots with Humus
  • Lime CheeCha Puffs

 

On the Agenda today:

  1. Get through School
  2. Finish Workout (Fit Test, and Max Interval circuit…Yikes!)
  3. Make Din-Din
  4. Clean room (it is a disaster)
  5. Do HW if any? So far none
  6. Blog
  7. Sleep=)

Sometimes Monday’s can feel like a mountain, but we will make it through this week!
