No dilly dally

That has been the motto of lately. HA! If any of you have done the Turbo Fire workout program than you may or may not recall Monica Gray who says “No dilly dally dilly dally, just go hard with intensity, get the job done and then go back home to your real life.” This past week and weekend has consisted of 3 days of work, school, homework, and Working out. Yikes! Is anyone else struggling with the back to school routine?

            Monday morning was the First day of school. Well kinda. Do you remember how we told you how we are also taking two night-time college courses this year? Since we are seniors, this year we only have to take 5 classes, but since we have those 2 colleges courses, then we only really have to take 3 courses at school. After talking to our counselor, our schedule got all rearranged beautifully! We have highschool every other day now 🙂 The three classes we are taking at school are:

                  -Whit’s-

  • 1b- AP Phycology(We have this together)
  • 2b-English 121 Lit
  • 3b-Precalc

                  -Court’s-

  • 1b-AP Phycology
  • 2b-College Algebra
  • 3b-English 121 Lit

Then, on Tuesdays and Thursday nights from 6-8:40 we go to Humanities and Art Appreciation. The school pays for these classes, and so basically by the time we really do go to college we will be entering as sophomores. Pretty Cool, right? What I have learned so far is that College courses are way more chill and layed back than highschool. Court and I had a lot of fun last night at our Humanities class, and our teacher looks like Santa. lol! All I can say is having every other day off is Awesome 🙂 We both got all our HW done last night, so that today we could just relax. And it was super nice to sleep in, in the middle of the week. We even had enough energy to do an intense workout. We managed to whip out 40 minutes of INSANITY, plus some AB action. Cheers to a great senior year ahead!

Finally we got to try the CARROT CAKE LARABAR!!!! OMFG, it was amazing.

Check out this delish creation: A broccoli cheddar soup stuffed bell pepper. Yum.

Have you ever heard of Navita’s Naturals? Well if not, their products are defiantly something to rave about. They sell nutrient rich food that range from Chia, flax, cacao, dried fruits and nuts, fruit powders, and much more. In our lovely package we received Trail mix, Pomegranate powder, and Mulberries.

The trail mix has a variety of different dried fruits I have never even tried. And to a surprise they were all GOOD! This is looking like a great school snack already. 🙂

The first thing we decided to make with this Pomegranate powder was POM overnight oats.

We mixed in 1 tbs into a 1/2 cup of oats a little plain greek yogurt, and the addition of Amazing grass berry mix.

**Verdict~Very fruity and perfectly sweet.

This Elvis Wich was great fuel for a 2 hr and 40 min college class

Guess What, Tomorrow is Friday for us!!! We just gotta go to our 3 classes at school, and then Art Appreciation at night, and Friday NO SCHOOL. 🙂 That well be 100% motivation to get through tomorrow. Easy Piecy right. School out at 12:45, go home to eat lunch, workout, prep dinner, work on a lil’ HW,  go to college class, and then FREEDOM! Now remember tomorrow “No dilly dally dilly dally! Just go and get the job done.” HAHAHA. Make that your motto, trust us it will get you through the day. Life is good 🙂
