Inferno Days 3 & 4

Hey There! Hows the Inferno week challenge going you might be asking?  Hmmm… well to answer your question “it is frickin’ HARDCORE!!!” I’m loving the results so far, just not how hard it is. These are a lot littler meals than what we are used to, and I feel like my tummy is grumbling all day. Luckily though tomorrow is the last day!!! Yeah 🙂 The only gazillions things that I have been craving are Oats, overnight oats, green monsters, yogurt messes, sweet potatoes, egg sammies, and OMG Pancakes. Seriously this plan is like trying to break a hardcore addiction of coffee, oats, and a whole ton of PB. The food all taste good, but it has just reminded me that having what you are craving, and putting your own spin on meals is the best part. I’m loving these beautiful defined abs, and so far have learned a lot about healthy options both with Shakeology, and more cooking options with veggies.

 ~Day 3~

Breakfast-suppose to be cottage cheese with pineapple(eww, instead yogurt)

 Lunch- Loaded baked potato(picture was taking half way through being destroyed!)

 Afternoon Snack-Chocolate covered Raspberry Shakeology Shake…Totally tasted like a yummy frosty!!!

Day 4 ~

 If you’re wondering, this plan includes 1 shakeology shake into each day, just cause it’s that good, and loaded with benefits!

 Oh my goodness, this Nutty Apple tasted like heaven, when you had b-fast at 4 AM, and are sweating to death at work because your workin’ so hard. Seriously this was probably one of the tastiest snacks. You can’t go wrong w/ apples and PB.

 Well we were suppose to have off from work today, but instead got stuck with a 6-2 shift. There’s no complains here though, because WE DID NOT HAVE TO CLOSE for like the first time in ages. It was so weird leaving work early, but we definitely appreciated it. Lunch eaten on break was this delish egg salad wrap with a side salad. The wrap was superb, the salad not so much. The balsamic vinegar just was not tasting very good today for some reason.

 When we got home from work, our snack was supposed to be an orange with 10 almonds, but it looks like someone in the family got a little hungry last night and ate them all gone. So we just opted for brazilian nuts and dates.

 After the snack, it was time to face another intense workout. We did Fire 45, HITT 20, and stretch 10.

 With this plan, we have become grill masters this week. Each dinner calls for a lean meat that requires grilling. So tonight’s dinner was Steak and potatoes.

So court and I were looking at the lasted issue of our Seventeen magazine, and found a cool workout called Piloxing. Have you heard of it? It is a workout that combines boxing with Pilates.  Well anywho it is a new Hollywood trend, and looks really awesome! Celebs like Hilary Duff and Ashley Tisdale love it. After looking up more about it, I’m thinking we are going to buy the DVD found on this website.

Well ya’ll tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! Yay, then a day off saturday 🙂 These early workouts followed by long days of work have been putting me in a grumpy mood. But some sleep and good oats should do the trick. lol Wei-wei were still working on getting you that picture if you were wondering. Hopefully this weekend. The week is busy, but a relaxing Saturday is in the works. Tonight Big Brother comes on for the first time this summer, and court just made me some amazing ginger green tea sweetened with stevia.               Today is the day, the most important pics of your high school career  SENIOR PICTURES! Yikes there are so many nerves going on. Our pictures are not clear till 5PM. Ahh, talk about dragging on time…Right? With all of this great motivation for morning workouts lately, we got up at 7 AM with the older sis, and totally killed another HIIT workout with our inspiring buddy Chalene Johnson.

Today’s workout was HIIT 15 along with P90X Ab Ripper X. Talk about intense! Whew, it was great 🙂

Lemon Water has always been a favorite morning regimen for us, but finally got put to good use this morning. Usually we add a sprinkle of Cayenne Pepper to give it a little more of a kick, and to clear out everything in the throat, but this morning just Fresh simple Lemon Water was all we needed. We just took our kiddie Vitamins, and cooled off with a glass of this while thinking what sounded ideal for breakfast. If you have never been one to know the benefits of Lemon Water, I looked it up this morning, along with some other popular trends I had been questioning like having a shot of Apple Cider Vinegar.

Benefits of Lemon Water:

**Lemon and water both have clarifying actions in your body. Both lemon and water help flush out toxins in your system. Your skin can’t look healthy if your body is holding onto toxins! When you get rid of toxic waste in your system, your skin will show it first! Your skin will be the first thing you notice cause it looks clear and not sallow and full of acne.**

**Lemon can help relieve many digestion problems when mixed with hot water. These include nausea, heartburn, constipation and parasites. It is even known to help relieve hiccups when consumed as a juice. Lemon juice acts as a liver tonic and helps you digest your food by helping your liver produce more bile.**

**Because of its high Vitamin C content, it is used to prevent and treat many infections, hasten wound healing, and diminish allergies. Lemon juice also relieves symptoms of asthma, tonsillitis, and sore throats.**

This morning I had real bad allergies, and this stuff totally cleared them out. No more sneezing or runny nose, gotta love it 😉

 Maple Coffee Oats are amazing, and if you haven’t tried them yet, YOU GOTTA! This time only a 1/3 cup of oats was used just so the addition of Cinna-Apples could be added.

 In the Mix:

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 2/3 cup coffee
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 1/6 cup egg whites (1/2 of a third of egg whites)

*Blend in blender, then pour in pan

Add:

  • Maple Extract
  • Stevia

*Toppings include:

  • PB
  • Plain greek yogurt
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar-Free Syrup
  • Apple slices

 You remember how we were telling you about the clothing line we began designing, and what the brand would look like. Here is one of the designs I came up with for Cohitney.

 Our mom’s b-day is coming this Friday June 2nd, and Court and I are going to make her cake just like we’ve done the past couple of years. We love to come up with a theme, then pick a flavor, and create an awesome cake. But this year were kinda stumped. What kinda cake design/ Flavor should we go for?

 Pretty soon it’s time to eat some lunch, then Start getting ready. The showers have already been taken, brows were plucked, and toenails painted. We’re getting some pictures together, and would love someday, if we could take some cute pictures together in fashionista skirts or dresses and pose like the wonderful MK&Ash.

This picture is totally one of our faves of them two!

>Update: Lunch was a tuna salad pita with frozen grapes(OMFG, taste like sorbet), and an Keebler Apple Sauce baked cookie.

  • 1 pita
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 2 carrots
  • 5 grape tomatoes
  • spinach
  • 1 spoonful of plain greek yogurt
  • A ton of Spike to season

After lunch we got ready for pics, and that took some time considering we got the thickest hair known to man. Seriously it takes a lot of product and time to curl this head of hair.

My room is green, black, and white with the theme of peace and polka dots!

Here’s court taking all of our clothes out to the car, yay it was almost time to finally leave. lol

Before we left though, we had to load up on a snack to hold us over till dinner, so Jay Robb Protein bars came to the rescue.

**Verdict: These taste just like a real fudge brownie. They were so good, you could even call it dessert. What it really reminded me of though was little debbie cosmic brownies. Ahh to die for. Yum!

When we got to the Park for the pictures, the wind was blowing like Crazy!!! Not good, esp. when we had to fix our hair every two seconds. It all went well though, and we ended up finishing the whole thing in about an hour. The worst part just had to be wearing Fall clothes(jeans, long sleeves), when it is 90 degrees.

With such a heat wave, nothing sounded better than a cold Cherry Bomb, and rice pecan bread for dinner.

What a great combo it was 🙂 On top of the bread was PB, Plain greek yogurt, Apricot Preserves, coconut, and walnuts.

We finished the season of 90210 we were on last night, so that means a fresh season to start watching tonight. Yay, well Have a relaxing Summer day! You could even give someone a compliment, make their day, flash a smile.

Back to reality….

Hello Lovelies!

This morning we woke up at 6 am. Yup you heard me right. This is the first summer that we have jobs and actually have to wake up early all summer. It is time to grow up and face reality. If  you want to have more responsibility, pay for fun things, have a car ect. then let me spell it out for you….. you need a j-o-b! I feel so grown up. Whit and I are getting between 35-40 hours a week this summer. We were the only two out of our whole family that had to get up and go to work this morning. It kind of sucked, but money is money(ya know what I mean).

 

Well enough work talk and on to breakfast….
it was a pb chocolate banana smoothie with some dry cereal

We put our smoothies into these new Starby’s tumblers that we got. They are so awesome!

In the mix, SERVES 2:

  • 1 EAS vanilla protein light milk(110 cal carton)
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 2 frozen banana’s
  • 1 fat-free sugar-free diet hot cocoa packet
  • 1 1/2 tbs. pb
  • 6 ice cubes

 

After breakfast we got ready for work. Do you like my new eyeshadow it is called Asphalt from Aromaleigh. We took Kristi’s suggestion for some make-up and purchased this companies mineral foundation and a few eyeshadows. I am totally lovin’ this make up! Thanks for the suggestion girly 🙂

 

And look at Whit, even though we were back at work the next day from our vacation, she still has a  🙂  on her face! 

 

We are not going grocery shopping until Wednesday, so we had to make do with what we had. Lunch was a humus, bell pepper, spinach wrap served alongside some grapes and a chocolate pretzel granola bar.

 

After work, we ate a quickie snack then completed Chalene Extreme Burn Interval Circuit and Extreme Ab’s. Let me tell ya, I do not know if it was just from standing on my feet all day at work and fatigue, but Chalene kicked my butt. Everything is sore.

**Verdict: These little hearts never fail to fight off my hunger. Apple was yet again a great flavor. I have not found one flavor I have not loved yet!

Heat it up in the microwave and top with almond butter and OMG you will literally melt it is so good.

 

Dinner was nothing you have not seen on this blog. With the rainy cold weather going on lately our dad cooked up a big pot of his famous turkey chili. Well folks, I think it is time for some beauty sleep for yet another 8-4:30 shift tomorrow. You have until 12 pm tomorrow to enter our Voskos giveaway so make sure you do not miss out!
