Week 4 begins now…

¬†Happy Happy Monday ūüôā

        Hello Lovely people, how is your mountain of a monday going? I hope good! Ours has been pretty rad so far.

Check out what we made last night, it was Goji-Licious!

 In the mix:

  • 1/2 container of Chobani plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 container of Hunt’s butterscotch pudding
  • 1 tablespoon of apple granola
  • 1 tablespoon of Kashi heart to heart
  • 2 mini Goji chocolate chip cookies
  • 1 mini Goji Orange mint chip cookie

Viola, a delish satisfying Yogurt mess ūüėČ

 Since it is Monday, we had a 5 AM wake-up call this morning. Breakfast was a simple hardy dish.

  • 13 PB puffins (to be specific. lol)
  • 1/2 cup of Kashi heart to heart warm Cinnamon
  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 tbs of silvered almonds
  • 1/2 cup almond milk

And to go with was 2 slices (50 cals each) of Sprouts Apple Cinnamon Raisin Bread.

 

 We decided we would hit up the gym after second period today, so Whit and I split this Boomi Bar beauty!

 **Verdict: Taste like cashew butter in bar form, which is awesome and very impressive

While at the gym, we completed:

  • 20 min of the eliptical at Incline of 3

  • 10 minutes of the bike at¬†Incline of 3¬†

 

  • Bikini Body Shape-Up Circuit out of this months Fitness Magazine

¬†~Wow, we we’re SWEATY! This whole workout today was good and challenging. Loved it!

When we got home, we stretched it out then tried a few sips out of this Sport OWATER.

¬†**Verdict: I love the all of the Sport OWATER flavors, I¬†think they just simply taste better sweetened. Their unsweetened flavors don’t even compare to these ones, Tasty ūüôā

 Then, it was time to make some Lunch cause that workout left our tummies rumbling! Last week, we got a nice package from Fiber Gourmet filled with a ton of their neat products.

This company is awesome, and sells healthier Pasta, Desserts, and crackers.

 And check out all the nutrition info all over the box. Needless to say, it is Chuck full of fiber and less calories than Traditional Mac&Cheese.

Explanation-As the Fiber goes up, the calories go down

 Also mixed into our Mac was:

  • Tofu
  • Spinach
  • chickpeas
  • Pepper

 And our classic go to side dish of splitting a Pink Lady Apple topped w/ Pumpkin, PB, and Cinnamon, oh my!

And now we’re going to prep lunch for tomorrow, then take a lovely Monday afternoon nap. Nothing beats an afternoon nap. ūüėČ

We woke up this morning exhausted. ūüė¶ It felt like we just got done with a long week, and now it was time for the weekend. lol Wrong, it is Monday morning, the start of another mile long week. With Cereal FEVER, we made some Kashi go lean with berries, dried fruit, silvered almonds,¬†and oats!

And for a special side, a single slice of Apple Cinnamon Raisin bread with Raw Homemade Cashew Butter and Cinnamon on top.

 

 

This week is an “A” week which means short days, and¬†the last week of Insanity! Yay ūüôā I thought I would never hear myself say this, but I kind of miss the gym. I¬†cannot wait to go there¬†next¬†week and see how my stamina does¬†on all of the machines. When¬†Whit and I were done with school, we took our car over to¬†Wally-World to get an oil¬†change. This was the first¬†time we have ever went by ourselves and the first time our car was getting one since we bought it in September.¬†We were both kind of nervous because we were clueless¬†as to what you are supposed to do.¬†I know this sounds like something stupid to get nervous over, but I always get nervous whenever I have to do something I¬†have never¬†done on my own before. Anywho we asked our dad to write out step by¬†step what we¬†were supposed to do last night.

 I am an expert now:
1) You pull up,  roll your window down, and wait for the mechanic to come ask what you need 
2) Ask for a standard oil change
3) Wait until he has you sign something and gives you a ticket
4) Go inside and wait 30 min.
5) Go up to the counter and see if your car is done and pay! I cannot believe it is that easy. 

 

 

When Whit and I got home then we prepared lunch.

On todays menu was an egg-white, chicken and cheese spinach wrap, a cutie, and Doctor Krackers.

The was the last of our French Meadow Bakery tortillas, SO GOOD!(tear)

These little guys are so refreshing!

Our apple and cherry Doctor Krackers were dipped in pumpkin butter and peanut butter…

Look at all those greens in that tortilla!

 

Today Whit and I did Max Plyo. I pushed myself harder than ever. It felt great. I really want to push myself this last week to get the most out of the rest of these workouts. Plus I feel more accomplished if I pushed myself to the fullest. The Boulder Boulder, which is 6 miles, is coming up on Memorial day. Us and our friends have all been thinking about doing it. The most I can run is 4 miles, so who knows. I still want to do it though even if I have to walk partially ūüôā It sounds so fun. This would be my first race other than race for the cure.

Thats why its called Insanity…

After that super intense workout today, our cereal was some Kashi Blueberry clusters, with some skim milk , strawberries, blueberries, pecans, and raw homemade cashew butter. So yummy and refreshing=)  

 

Shrimp was used for Dinner, in making a shrimp pizza on a whole wheat tortilla alongside a veggie lentil Quinoa Salad. 

 

Salad: 

  • Romaine lettuce
  • Carrots
  • Corn bean mixture
  • Lentils
  • Quinoa
  • Sprouts Greek Feta dressing
  • 2 cheddar nut thins crumbled as croutons

 

  

 

Pizza: 

  • 1 whole wheat tortilla
  • Newman’s own roasted garlic sauce
  • parmesan
  • Bell Pepper
  • Onion
  • Shrimp
  • Parsley
  • Part-Skim Mozzerella

*Put in the oven at 375 for 15 minutes 

 

Dessert: Oatmeal Raisin Cookie 

So guess what we found out from our coffee addict sister. Tomorrow is FREE Pastry day at Starbucks. Just go to www.starbucks.com, and print off the coupon to bring in. You get any Pastry with the purchase of a coffee drink. Oh, and it ends at 10:30 AM. Can’t wait, OMG. It well be a definite debate between toffee nut and cinnamon dolce.

 

Well, now that we watched our show the Secret Life, it is time to be a responsible kid, and actually go get some homework done. TTYS
