Productive and still got sleep!

So today has been a superb day 🙂 It was an “A” day, so after we got out of school at 10:45 AM, we headed down to our gym fitness 19. I love this gym, and we pay a low price of $10 per month! The weather was kinda weird today, just like any other day in Colorado I guess, lol. One minute it was so sunny, then everyone in class looked out the Window and this kid was all “Look outside guys, we’re in a freakin cloud.” Lol, it was so foggy that you could no longer see any of the houses or light post across the street. It was awesome looking 😉 This morning’s breakfast was one of our favorite bagels (DUTCH APPLE!!!) with an egg white spinach tofu scramble, and a baby size glass of skim milk.

 My god, Court and I were in a Bagel Coma  XO.  This one is the best, because it is a lot softer than other bagels, and has delicious soft cinnamon dutch apple chunks on top! And the toppings were Honey Nut Cream cheese on one side, and Skippy All natural Chunky PB with Pumpkin Butter on the other.

 For a pre-workout snack, during second period in US History(our only class together) we each tried out one of these Macadamia & Apricot Kind bars that were on sale last week at sprouts. This bar was really good, I think we’re going to have to buy some macadamia nuts this week for good creations like cookies, oats, and bars, because they are just too good! ❤


While at the Gym we did:

30 min of the treadmill

  •  Min 0-5 Speed 5 Incline 2
  • Min 5-7 Speed 6 Incline 2
  • Min 7-8 Speed 8 Incline 2
  • Min 8-10 Speed 4 Incline 2
  • Repeat for min 10-20
  • Min 20-25 Speed 5 Incline 2
  • Min 25-30 Speed 4 Incline 2

Floorwork/Abs/Weight lifting

 *That was our first time running in over a month, and we were drenched with sweat. Don’t you just love when you all of a sudden change up your ususal routine, and your body really feels it?*

When we got home, we showered up, put on some comfy clothes  and made this great tasting lunch.

On the Menu

-Green Monster-

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp chia
  • 1/2 tbs vanilla whey protein
  • 1/2 tbs PB
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 3 ice cubes
  • lots of spinach

-Pumpkin Banana PB Pita-

  • 1 small pita (140 cals)
  • 1/2 tbs PB
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 2 tbs pumpkin
  • cinnamon
  • drizzle of agave nectar

*Heat the pita in the microwave for 30 sec, then cut with a pizza cutter

 After lunch, I finished up an English Assignment, e-mailed it to my teacher, and took a cozy nap in my bed for about 3 hours. Boy was I tired ♥

After waking up, I got my Science HW done while court studies for AP Calc, and then I made an easy dinner for us while she packed our lunch for tomorrow. Things are just so much easier and save you a lot of time when there are TWO of you! lol.


  • 1 leftover Hamburger topped with Cheese, tomato, pickle, and onions
  • Roasted asparagus (Top w/ Cayenne, paprika, Red pepper flakes, EVOO, pop in the oven at 400 for 10 min)
  • Alexia Baked Fries


 All in all, this day has been very productive, and we got some extra sleep to catch up. I think naps just put me in the best mood. Well, I hope everyone has a great night!

Hey Monday ain’t over yet!

 And Monday continues…

Good evening all! It feels great to know that Monday’s heftiness has finally dwindled down. After our workout today, Whit and I refueled with a Green Monster! And we used up all the rest of the spinach, so now we need to restock ASAP. Today it was supposed to be really warm, but all day it just looked gloomy like it was going to rain, which it never did. LAME, don’t you just love afternoon rain? I know I do, esp. in Colorado.

Once the monster’s were all in the belly, Whit had the fabulous idea for a nap! And it felt so good, afternoon naps are the best 🙂




Our mom had today off from work, so off course the house was spotless, and Dinner was made. She made Spaghetti, Carb heaven 🙂 Since we were missing some Texas toast Garlic Bread, we opted to make our own on Sandwich thins. And some Veggies were thrown in too.






After dinner, we all cleaned the kitchen, packed lunches for tomorrow, and heated up dessert. Tonight’s Specialty another Lenny and Larry’s Cookie, but these one’s were Oatmeal Raisin. Our mom was jealous, so we gave her a chocolate chip one. Her verdict “This is so good, soft, and I am love how big it is!”



And just as their other products, this one was equally good, so far the Winners are the Cookies n’ Cream brownie, and the PB cookie. Yummy carbs tonight, for some hard-working bodies.


We just got done reading the first Chapter of this book called “Woman Warrior” that we have to read for Am. Lit Honors, and it is kinda weird so far. But next up is “The Kite Runner,” and everyone seems to like that book, so it should be a good finisher to the year.


Well, lunches are packed, HW is done, so now the question is what to make for B-fast tomorrow. So many Choices! What a dilemma. Lol


To answer a FAQ of today Do you guys eat the same meals everyday?

A: For the most part, because we are together pretty much 24/7, and we like most of the same meals, so it works out easier to cook together, and it is fun!

Just another monday…

We woke up this morning exhausted. 😦 It felt like we just got done with a long week, and now it was time for the weekend. lol Wrong, it is Monday morning, the start of another mile long week. With Cereal FEVER, we made some Kashi go lean with berries, dried fruit, silvered almonds, and oats!

And for a special side, a single slice of Apple Cinnamon Raisin bread with Raw Homemade Cashew Butter and Cinnamon on top.



This week is an “A” week which means short days, and the last week of Insanity! Yay 🙂 I thought I would never hear myself say this, but I kind of miss the gym. I cannot wait to go there next week and see how my stamina does on all of the machines. When Whit and I were done with school, we took our car over to Wally-World to get an oil change. This was the first time we have ever went by ourselves and the first time our car was getting one since we bought it in September. We were both kind of nervous because we were clueless as to what you are supposed to do. I know this sounds like something stupid to get nervous over, but I always get nervous whenever I have to do something I have never done on my own before. Anywho we asked our dad to write out step by step what we were supposed to do last night.

 I am an expert now:
1) You pull up,  roll your window down, and wait for the mechanic to come ask what you need 
2) Ask for a standard oil change
3) Wait until he has you sign something and gives you a ticket
4) Go inside and wait 30 min.
5) Go up to the counter and see if your car is done and pay! I cannot believe it is that easy. 



When Whit and I got home then we prepared lunch.

On todays menu was an egg-white, chicken and cheese spinach wrap, a cutie, and Doctor Krackers.

The was the last of our French Meadow Bakery tortillas, SO GOOD!(tear)

These little guys are so refreshing!

Our apple and cherry Doctor Krackers were dipped in pumpkin butter and peanut butter…

Today Whit and I did Max Plyo. I pushed myself harder than ever. It felt great. I really want to push myself this last week to get the most out of the rest of these workouts. Plus I feel more accomplished if I pushed myself to the fullest. The Boulder Boulder, which is 6 miles, is coming up on Memorial day. Us and our friends have all been thinking about doing it. The most I can run is 4 miles, so who knows. I still want to do it though even if I have to walk partially 🙂 It sounds so fun. This would be my first race other than race for the cure.
