Hello Loves!

I am exhausted having worked the past three days from 8-4:30. I was so tired when I got home and my feet and back were killing me. Whit and I skipped our workout yesterday because we had too many things on the to-do list and once again were unbearably tired. We thought about skipping it again, but you cannot skip your workout every single time you are tired. So we popped in 30 day shred and did a quickie 25 min. workout. I was glad I at least did something in the end. Some movement is better than none! How do you deal with exhaustion and working out?

Right now I am watching the Princess Diaries on Disney channel. Man I love the Disney Channel! I am practically a senior and nothing stops me from watching it haha 🙂



Well breakfast was as promised: Protein Pancakes
Carob Chip Goji Pancakes!

Our breakfast cookie was so good that we had to give pancakes a try with carob chips and goji berries.


Serves 1:

  • 3/4 cup Egg whites
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned/rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp sugar substitute or 1 pkt (we used 1 pkt of nunaturals stevia)
  • Lots of Cinnamon
  • 1 tbs. goji berries
  • 1 tbs. carob chips
  • Cooking oil spray


-pb+plain greek yogurt
-coconut kefir icing


 This mornings words of wisdom from my cup of vanilla hazelnut yogi tea.


Todays lunch packed was a mixed greens salad, served alongside a Bora Bora bar, and some strawberries & cherries. 


Bora Bora sent us a variety of bars to sample, some coupons, tattoos, and some chapstick(which is some of the softest I have tried in a long time).

This company makes three kind of bars:


Whit and I each grabbed a bar out of the stash and split them at lunch. We picked these two…



**VERDICT: This one was my least favorite out of the two. It did not taste anything like coconut. It just tasted like hard rice krispies. The ingredient list however is very impressive!



**VERDICT: This bar actually did have lots of flavor and it was very soft. Now this is the kind of bar you want to eat. It had the perfect hint flavor of honey and was packed with plenty of nuts and seeds 🙂

Today was just madness! It was $2 Tuesday at Einstein’s. Everybody and their mom came in. Whit and I were both Barista’s today. I was running around like a mad women. And the worst thing was I left on the lid when I was brewing some coffee and it spilled out everywhere right during the rush! 


When we came home we both whipped up our own yogurt messes. This was mine.



After we finally got our work out over with then we had a sweet barley salad and a sweet potato.


The salad had barely, mixed greens, apples, cherries, raisins, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, and raspberry vinaigrette.

And the best part of the whole meal was this big guy. We  baked up a giant sweet potato and split it. We topped it with plain greek yogurt, pb, sugar-free syrup and cinnamon.

Back to reality….

Hello Lovelies!

This morning we woke up at 6 am. Yup you heard me right. This is the first summer that we have jobs and actually have to wake up early all summer. It is time to grow up and face reality. If  you want to have more responsibility, pay for fun things, have a car ect. then let me spell it out for you….. you need a j-o-b! I feel so grown up. Whit and I are getting between 35-40 hours a week this summer. We were the only two out of our whole family that had to get up and go to work this morning. It kind of sucked, but money is money(ya know what I mean).


Well enough work talk and on to breakfast….
it was a pb chocolate banana smoothie with some dry cereal

We put our smoothies into these new Starby’s tumblers that we got. They are so awesome!

In the mix, SERVES 2:

  • 1 EAS vanilla protein light milk(110 cal carton)
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 2 frozen banana’s
  • 1 fat-free sugar-free diet hot cocoa packet
  • 1 1/2 tbs. pb
  • 6 ice cubes


After breakfast we got ready for work. Do you like my new eyeshadow it is called Asphalt from Aromaleigh. We took Kristi’s suggestion for some make-up and purchased this companies mineral foundation and a few eyeshadows. I am totally lovin’ this make up! Thanks for the suggestion girly 🙂


And look at Whit, even though we were back at work the next day from our vacation, she still has a  🙂  on her face! 


We are not going grocery shopping until Wednesday, so we had to make do with what we had. Lunch was a humus, bell pepper, spinach wrap served alongside some grapes and a chocolate pretzel granola bar.


After work, we ate a quickie snack then completed Chalene Extreme Burn Interval Circuit and Extreme Ab’s. Let me tell ya, I do not know if it was just from standing on my feet all day at work and fatigue, but Chalene kicked my butt. Everything is sore.

**Verdict: These little hearts never fail to fight off my hunger. Apple was yet again a great flavor. I have not found one flavor I have not loved yet!

Heat it up in the microwave and top with almond butter and OMG you will literally melt it is so good.


Dinner was nothing you have not seen on this blog. With the rainy cold weather going on lately our dad cooked up a big pot of his famous turkey chili. Well folks, I think it is time for some beauty sleep for yet another 8-4:30 shift tomorrow. You have until 12 pm tomorrow to enter our Voskos giveaway so make sure you do not miss out!
