Cheesecake Oats, oh my…

Good Afternoon friends 🙂

       Every Wednesday is a rest Day for the TURBO FIRE plan, so today no workout for these chicka’s, just sleep and work. How nice, I love rest days. And as a bonus we were not closers today, so we got out of work at 2 0′ clock sharp!

The Breakfast combo was Blueberry Cheesecake overnight oats with a Raw Cashew Crust

**Note- If you have never tried any of our overnight combo’s, this one is a true WINNER! Totally epic. lol..

>Step 1: Make the Crust

  • Soak 2 tbs of Raw Cashew(or regular) in a bowl of water for about 4-5 hours until softened
  • Drain water
  • In a food processor blend the cashews with about 6 pitted dates and a drizzle of agave
  • Press the newly mixed “paste” into the bottom of your bowl
  • set aside while mixing oat mixture

 >Step 2: Make Oat mixture:

-Mix together

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup plain non-fat yogurt
  • 2 tbs unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 pkt stevia/sweetener
  • 1/2 tbs of Jello Sugar-Free Cheesecake powder

>Step 3: Pour over crust

>Step 4: Top with frozen or fresh blue berries

>Step 5: refrigerate overnight

 

 Seriously it was so creamy and really tasted like cheesecake. A two thumbs up for this creation. Take a bite out of that! This morning we added chopped walnuts and a sprinkle of Kashi GoLean Crunch.

 Since we had work today, and really did not feel like packing anything, another snacky lunch like the other day came to the rescue. Seriously this lunch never fails, lol. It is easy, fast, and satisfying. Theses new Cookie Dough Larabars are the shizzz. Have you tried them yet? If you haven’t, they really taste like cookie dough, and now Court and I want to recreate them even better.

 With all this super HOT and humid weather today, a yogurt mess was in desperate NEED when we got off work. And I’m not even gonna lie, it was one of the best messes. The creative juices are flowing, and we know what is good today. The  combo included:

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 heated banana nut VITATOP
  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • 1 tsp Walden’s Calorie Free Carmel sauce
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • sprinkle of silvered almonds
  • sprinkle of galaxy granola

 The name UliMana… What comes to mind?  

How about ~

**VERDICT- We loved these chocolates, and are still becoming vegan lovers step by step. I do have to admit that we were a little iffey as to whether non-dairy chocolate would be as good as say milk or dark chocolate, but there was nothing to be worried about. They were creamy, fudge like, all-natural dessert. Mmm, more Vegan desserts please?

Haha, well I have no clue what to make for dinner, but the tummy is rumbling, and it’s time to go feed it. Oh  yeah Court and I got some really exciting news, and we will tell you all about it, if the plans go as followed.     Those overnight cheesecake oats look AWESOME! Wow…totally bookmarking this! I am so jealous you got your hands on a new Larabar…I cannot find them ANYWHERE 😦 enjoy them for me 😉 haha!

      We found ours at King Soopers. If you do not have this grocery store where you live, it might be called City Market or Smiths.

    I (finally) found the chocolate chip cookie dough Laras and am SO. Effing. Excited. It may seem silly, but I’ve actually been “saving” it for a special time because they sound so good :D. I may give up on that now, though, because you make them sound so tempting. Speaking of which, I am defo jealous of your raw&vegan treats. I am a chocolate lover through and through so vegan chocolate confections would be my dreams come true (well, foodie wise at least haha). How did you get them?

      The Larabars are amazing. Trust us, try it now! lol. And we got the raw chocolate as a sample to review from the company.

      OMG, I know i freakin’ love the jello cheesecake mix. And there are some great smoothie recipes that use it too. Esp. if you mix it with Shakeology. Talk about MMM.

    You guys just completed my dream! I swear I’ve been thinking all day yesterday about how to make overnight oats to be like a “pie.” Nuts as a base for the crust is ingenious!

    Those overnight oats looks wonderful!!I’ve never tried overnight oats, but may just have to give those a try 🙂
    I am a huge Lara bar fan and will definitely be looking for the cookie dought flavor on my next grocery store trip.

      Heck yes, it rocks. First off a serving size is 1/4 cup vs a traditional 1-2 tbs of a dressing, and it is so much better tasting. The whole time you feel like you are eating a healthy delish veggie pizza.

    Those oats look amazing!! I love the idea of the crust. It’s like a larabar with your overnight oats, only even better!! Yum. And the yogurt mess looks like a winner, too 🙂 Dying to get my hands on the new Larabars!! I can’t wait to bite into the carrot cake one especially 😀
