Day 2: and Finals continue….
So this morning was a bowl of apple, cinnamon, date oatmeal from our Alicia Silverstone book with a cup of cran-grape. Here is the recipe:
1/2 cup of oats
1 cup of water
1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract
1 tsp. of maple syrup
half of a honey crisp apple
dash of cinnamon
So decadent and 100% vegan!
Lunch was leftover fritattas from Tuesdays dinner with a salad. Todays finals did not feel like they went as good as yesterdays but I guess will see what happens…
After a hard day of finals, and the past two days of hard workouts, Whit and I were ready to do some hot yoga. We turned on the fire place in our basement and plugged in our floor heater. Then we did P90X yoga. It was and hour and a half of our own hot yoga. It was intense. I have never sweated so bad. But I felt absolutely amazing afterwards. So relaxed and centered 🙂
After a good sweat session we had a good yogurt parfait to recover.
Yummy! I love pineapple in my yogurt : P
Then we went shopping for a miso soup recipe, but could not find about half of the ingredients at our local grocery store. So instead we came home and Whipped up a quick Spaggetti with Shirkataki noodles and Newmans Own sauce. Also we split a whole wheat english muffin with garlic and herb laughing cow and some veggies.
Well we are off to study yet again. Finally the last night of studying!!!
