New Years Eve!
This morning Whit and I thought long and hard about what we would want our last breakfast of 2009 to be. After about 20 minutes of pondering we decided…. a pumpkin smoothie with a vans blueberry waffle! And it would not be complete withouth a honey crisp apple and a drizzle of agave.
After breakfast I went shopping with Ash while Whit stayed at home to finish construction on her room. It looks amazing by the way. I promise there will be pictures soon!
When I arrived home around 1 o’clock the house smelled like garlic. Whit made us fettucine alfredo and garlic bread. The noodles are 100% vegan. They are called shirataki noodles. This was one of our purchases we picked up from Target the other day 🙂 The whole meal was delicious and nutritious. Somebody who loves pasta but is trying to cut carbs could totally eat this meal. For the whole bag of noodles there are only
3 g of carbs.
Dad is cooking dinner tonight, and he decided on Stouffers Lasagna. We both enjoyed a good serving then got ready to watch a movie from red box.
The movie was Baby Momma. It was hilarious! My whole family loved it. While I watched the movie I enjoyed a strawberry cheescake spoonbender from good times. I only ate half of it. It was so nice to have the whole family gathered together to watch a movie. I love nights like this.
Whit and I ended up being the only ones in the house that could make it till Midnight. We statyed up together and talked about all the things we accomplished in 2009 and what are goals should be for the New Year. It was a good talk 🙂
What are your goals for the New Year?
